Printers UK....

Welcome to Printers UK, my name is Jon Spencer and I used to run a large format printing shop in London and used to get customers ask me daily what printer I used at home and what I would recommend.

Printing UK is much the same as in other areas of the world. I had some of my most talented printing workers sit down and write some articles that can help you find the best possible printer at home or your office.

The Difference of Printers UK

It was in 1938 when Charles Carlson was able to invent electrophotography, a dry printing process which is also popular by the name of Xerox. Little did anyone know that this foundation was the start of the laser printing technology of the near future.

The next major milestone in printers that was achieved after this was in 1953. Remington-Rand was able to develop the first high speed printer for the use of the Univac. After this, in 1969, the birth of the first ever laser printer took place. It was named EARS and was developed at the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center where it was completed in 1971.

In 1977, the first xerographic laser product, 9700, was released. It is said to be based on the prototype EARS printer which was the start of all modern day printers. The man responsible for this is Gary Starkweather, a Xerox Engineer who decided to add a laser beam into this laser printer.

There is one thing which is common about these major discoveries and inventions relevant to our printer today. It is that they were all designed and produced in either America or a part of Europe. This is the reason why printers UK are a bit more advanced, technology-wise; the development of the printer was widespread in these areas. Although this may be true, the difference of printers UK compared to the printers manufactured in other parts of the world are not really that big when we set aside technological factors. Printers UK may be slightly superior, but this doesn’t mean that other printers are of bad quality. In fact, printers UK actually have the same types of features as the printers that are sold in other parts of the globe these days.

One of these is the bubble jets or ink jets printer. This printer has the capability of producing high quality print outs which are comparable to that of the laser printer. The trick behind this is that there are magnetized plates that serve as a guide for the ink in order for them to locate themselves in their designated part of the paper to form a particular design.

Of course, laser printers have also been in the world market for a long time. Basically, it uses a mix of heat and pressure to transfer the ink of the drum to the page. The process aside, laser printers really print quickly and its supply cartridges will surely last

Now, if ever you buy a printer, you will have a better idea on which kind to purchase and why the prices may differ a bit.

The Internet and Printers UK

Nowadays, the Internet seems to dominate everything. It stems from household to household in every country. This is how fast technology can spread and it will be on a much faster rate in the future for there aren’t signs showing of it slowing down. Thanks to the benefits brought about by the Internet, a lot of people have had their lives changed dramatically. One of the major benefits include getting in touch with anyone, anytime and from any part of the globe. Also, job openings and opportunities (both online and offline but mostly online) have increased with the rise of demand for the Internet. International marketing has also flourished since the coming of the Internet. But did you know that the Internet was hidden from public knowledge in its first few decades of operation?

The commercialization of the Internet only happened recently. It was in 1991 when the ban from public use was lifted, and after that, history happened. The reason for it being banned from public use was due to the fact that it was initially utilized as a means for military procedures such as information gathering and the like. During this time, it was called the ARPANET which stands for Advanced Research Projects Agency Network. There were only two places where the Internet was located, and these were in military bases or universities where military research was conducted.

Coincidentally, the development of the printers UK happened also roughly during the same timeframe. Printers UK was also in its early developmental stages during 1969 wherein the first prototype for laser printers was developed and named EARS. It was then completed shortly in 1971 by the Xerox Engineer Gary Starkweather.

Today, especially in Europe, you won’t see a computer without any printers UK nearby. The Internet works hand in hand with printers to ensure that not only is there an electronic copy but also a hard copy for all your files and documents.

Through the years, a lot of printer types have been created due to the increasing and continuous demand in continents such as Europe. The most popular is obviously laser printers which are one of the fastest printers to date while having an ink saving function which lets you print more while consuming less. A good alternative to these are the ink jet printers which are cheap and economical but still able to produce high quality print that matches that of a laser printer.

The Internet and printers have indeed changed the face of communication in a positive way which is why we need to use these advantages in order to combat the rising dilemmas of the world.

All about Printers

Technology has been a major factor to our growth as people especially these days. This is because technology is not only becoming rampant but also globally widespread amongst different nations. Through its progressive development, we are also at the same time advancing towards new heights where no man in history has ever reached.

One of the most recent revolutionary creations of man is the Internet. The Internet has provided us with infinite possibilities as well as raised-up the notch of human communication to a new level. Today, sending messages to someone would only take a few seconds through the click of a mouse. Also, these messages could be sent to anyone who may be located in any part of the world.

However, the success of the Internet would not have been this evident without the invention of printers. This is due to the fact that printers are actually the gateway between the tangibility and non tangibility of all electronic information, images and text found in the Internet.

Now that you know its significance, let me tell you more about the types of printers.

First of all, there is what you call the ink jets which are also known as bubble jets. These work by creating an image on paper through spraying ionized drops of ink. You may be wondering how this is done smoothly. Well, there are magnetized plates found in the printer that guide the path of the ink to form a specific design. This is the reason why printing through ink jets is never messy.

Another kind of printer is the laser type. Basically, the process of printing through a laser type printer involves a laser beam that shines in order to produce an image on a drum. The drum will then be rolled through a pool and the parts of the drum which are electronically charged will pick up ink. Finally, with a combination of pressure and heat, the ink found on the drum will then be visible on paper. Just so you know, the laser type printer is able to print very fast. This is the reason why it is mostly found in offices and households.

The LED/LCD printers are cousins of the laser type. Both are identical to each other in more ways than not and the only major difference is that instead of a laser, LED/LCD uses a light source to create images on a drum.

These three are just some of the printers out there that will help you in your daily life with regards to work or school. Now that you are familiar with these, you can choose the appropriate one to do the job.

The Significance of Printers

Printers can be quite an essential add on to your home especially if you are someone who is still into studying. This is because as a student, you will need to print files here and there and going somewhere else to have your documents printed can prove to be a hassle in the long run.

Now if you would like to purchase your own printer, you don’t have to worry about an overpriced product for a lot of printers these days are now affordable. This is all due to the fact that through the decades, more and more companies have ventured into the printing industry and have created ways to price their products lower when they were officially released. In turn, this continuous price decrease has lowered the overall prices of a printer. In fact, prices are now so low compared to before that you might not believe that one unit used to cost a thousand dollars during its first stages of development and market introduction.

In buying a printer, you should first consider what purpose you need one for. Would you be using it for research, assignments, or other things? Determining this is very important for knowing how often you will use it and the amount of papers that it would need to print can be used to gauge if you will need to buy a heavy duty printer or not.

There are indeed a lot of printers nowadays so here is some basic information about the models to choose from.

First is the inkjet printer. This type of printer uses drops of ionized ink and sprays it to a page in order to make an image. It has magnetic plates which ensure that the ink will be in line with whatever design pattern there is. The great thing about the inkjet printer is that not only is it cheaper compared to the others but it also delivers excellent quality and superior value.

Next is the laser printer. The laser printer is one of the best choices when it comes to quality print outs. This is because there are rarely errors in its method of printing and the output is clean. It works by producing an image on the drum through shining a laser beam. The drum is then rolled through a pool of toner. There, the drum’s electrically charged parts will attract ink and with heat and pressure, ink will be transferred to the page.

These are just some of the good printers. If you really want to know more then you could always do some research or canvassing to make sure that your money’s value is maximized.
